<p>From what I heard:</p>
<p>UCLA’s decisions have come out at around mid-March in the past few years. (March 12 or some time near that last year i think). No date has been confirmed but the decisions will probably come out before Berkeley’s 24th of March. </p>
<p>you will be able to check your decision on its decision website. I heard you only need your birthday and UC application ID or something like that since there is no UCLA status check account.</p>
<p>An email is sent to you saying that decision is now available online, but I don’t think the actual decision is emailed to you. </p>
<p>UCLA is not my first choice.</p>
<p>As poster above me said… they all come out mid-March. Hopefully it’s as soon as last year, which was pretty early. They send you an e-mail if you’re accepted or rejected, and then something in the mail comes additionally if you are accepted. </p>

<p>Last year, i only got two emails from UCLA: One saying that my application had been received, and another saying that decisions had been made. Then i had to sign in to their website to find out whether i was accepted or rejected, same for berkeley.</p>

<p>Remember to check your Spam folder. Last year my son’s email (that decisions had been made) went to his Spam folder.</p>

So there is no guarantee as such, but I wanna believe it.</p>
<p>Hmm… I’m not sure on what the time would be, but the prediction that decisions would come out today (3/11) at 5:00 PM makes sense, based on their release on a Friday (3/12) at 5:00 PM last year. </p>

An admission’s officer from UCLA gave a small presentation at our school yesterday, and some notable responses that he gave about decisions were “very soon,” “we’ve been working at a great pace this year (or something along the lines of that),” and, my personal favorite, “check your inboxes this weekend… (response to a friend of mine and I asking him about it before the presentation).” </p>
