<p>Didn’t do the summer trick yet can see the financial aid summary, “good” housing message and the name in the directory. A big “but” is that i’m lacking three prerequisites(linguistics, premed) which kind of makes me suspicious of the trick, but well, who knows…
Btw, some of my friends’ names who applied this cycle do not show up in the directory search!</p>
<p>Your name will not appear in the directory even if after you accepted and accepted your SIR.</p>
<p>The only way it will show up right now is through the summer trick.</p>

<p>Just because you’ve been accepted doesn’t mean you’ve SIR-ed and chosen to be a UCLA student. So none of our names would be in the directory…</p>

<p>@crazycollegedays I don’t think I was accepted, but for ucsd pretty much none of the “tricks” worked for me and I was accepted today. Everything is bs until you actually see the acceptance letter so don’t stress about it; no matter what you will know in 20 hours and nothing will change that.</p>
<p>If it helps, I am a registered summer student from 2011. I cannot see my name in this directory and I know I’m highly unlikely to get in. So, this may actually be an indicator FYI. Best of luck to all of you.</p>
<p>This guy is wrong! Only URSA FA, MyUCLA major, and housing (if done right) are true indicators.</p>
