defiantly, it’ll help prevent ulcers in hundreds of young people. although once i’m in that position I could see myself doing things to screw with applicants…just for ****s and giggles…

“I also want to say its cruel that Americans or anyone for that matter has a hard time just getting into college…we should all be entitled to a degree…I hope one day no one has to freak out about getting into college! good luck everyone I’m sure you all deserve it.”

anyone who puts in a recognizable amount of effort (>2.0) can get into at LEAST one state school… most state schools cover a generous percentage of financial need… CCC students who would otherwise be unable to afford CCC are entitled to a BOG waiver, covering their tuition, and, if appropriate need is demonstrated, a book grant of up to $400-500… cal grants can also SERIOUSLY assist with living expenses…

i don’t think that’s such a cruel system.

dont get me wrong we have an amazing system, best in the world…but that doesnt mean it cant be better you know? and Usually i would agree and keep opinions to myself but someone i know who maintains a 4.7 currently 4.2 average overall 1800 SAT didnt get accepted into any school in which they applied to…some were state schools…now alot of that is because of the budget cuts…but still…she is bound for CC now (which is actually freaking awesome because she will save so much money) but still why couldnt she get into a 4 year right out of HS? blue ribbon school all that crap…oh well what can you do…

lets focus on UCLA though and the decisions!

even with those stats, is it possible that Ego was cued to prevent her from covering her bases?
