Seems strange that they would release some decisions 1 week earlier than they did last year. I didn’t think UCLA released decisions on a rolling basis. Also, didn’t they release all of the decisions on the same day last year(April 23rd)?

sue = karens much?

Holy crap, brilliant!

@samuel I’d say you’ve nailed it, Watson

OMG how have I not seen this thread until now?

1) First off, Jane, just so you know, when I told the prospective Davis-lovers that decisions were coming out 3/23…and they didn’t, everyone on here hated me for weeks lmao. I don’t even want to think what would happen if UCLA waited another week. However, I’d still love ya!..I’d just have to postpone da love for the week :).

2) STOMP. Ok. If I go to UCLA…there’s no question in my mind that I am joining this! This is right down my alley. I love helping ppl…especially transfer kids such as myself! I’m definitely going…alas, that would distract me from Berkeley for a bit lol.

@emil I’m going too dude, If I get in :)

Awesome man! We’ll have to meet up! haha I’ll be the annoying kid asking lots of questions. You can’t miss me. Damn, I swear if decisions come out this Friday and I get in…Might just be the happiest day of my life. I will cry - straight up.

Only to be eclipsed by one day (2 weeks later) that I shall not discuss in this thread…as it is blasphemous to the UCLA love.

Okay i think this is good news that confirms that Jane’s tip is correct:

when i went to look at the STOMP, this is what it says

Friday, April 30, 2010
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
b**

They couldnt expect us to RSVP by april 23rd if we receive our admission decision on the 23rd, therefore FRIDAY! lol

@ Eshug: I saw that as well, but still I’m skeptical of that. I mean you can still register even if you’re not admitted, right?

yeah but they must know there wouldnt be much of a turn out if no one knows if they are in yet

yea, the STOMP thing doesn’t mean **** because you could register even without being admitted yet. i have a feeling it’s not coming out this friday but ill be damned if i hear from ucla before irvine -_-

I think the STOMP thing may be an indication of early release – but i’m still skeptical.

I am not really sure about the whole STOMP thing, coz when I read the purpose and stuffs on that page, the conference seems to be designed for people who want to transfer to UCLA in the future (just read it carefully). I dunno but we will see.

I just looked at this page, and it never asks for my applicant ID or anything, look, here is a link to the stomp registration page. [UCLA Undergraduate Admissions - Login](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/stompconference/Register.aspx?T=S)

That’s not to say Jane is wrong, as her email still says that admissions will begin friday.

.

i want my float and i want it made out of roses.

and if i am wrong, hunt down my transfer center director, and still give me my parade and PATRON!!!

in 15 days, no one is gonna care about UCLA anyway lol. everyone’s gonna be worried about berkeley

!!! I just saw this now! I’m stoked! But skeptical. I hope it’s true!

yeah but berkeley will have much less importance if i get in ucla
