UCLA Den Season Tickets

Are the tickets worth getting? I do enjoy sports and all, but i was wondering if we received the worst possible seats for both basketball and football games. Are there seats that you are assigned to or is it first come first serve? Regardless, I will probably be getting tickets to all the games.

You will probably not be getting tickets to all the games. Basketball is almost impossible to get single-game tickets, and doubtful that you will have the blue and gold package. Unless you want to shell out like $1000 you won’t get a ticket to every game most likely. The seating is 1st come first serve, so students line up the night before for when they have basketball tickets, and the seats are right behind courtside seats on one side for 500 of them and way above in upper deck for the rest. Football is just like 4 sections of the Rose Bowl, all the way from field level to highest up.s

Yes they are worth it.

I was considering buying the tickets as well. On the brochure it says the basketball tickets are lottery? Does that mean I might not get them?

It means you probably won’t get them (though you might get a half season plan).

As an incoming freshmen, where can I go about purchasing these tickets?

And the package is a lottery pick right?

i won gold package last year (freshman year) and gold package again
for my upcoming sophormore year xD

@Laserbase,
Were you automatically entered into the lottery? How does it work? I would like to grab some of these tickets too.

you enter yourself into the lottery by returning the mail they sent you

if you didn’t receive the mail, call CTO

yup, enter the lottery and then if your me you’ll win the tickets, and then they charge you in the fall through your BAR account ^^

^through which plan the blue and gold, gold, or the blue?

the answer is yes (whichever you want - you probably won’t get both)

ok well i guess i’ll pick blue & gold, and blue if i cant get both[which is most likely]-i will miss berkeley but i get usc and stanford, so hopefully i get it! thanks guys

For the record, USC and Stanford will be vying for last place in the Pac-10 next year.

so i should get/enter raffle for the gold pack instead?

I was just saying… pick what you want. :)

haha ok thank you, i have friends at usc and cal so i dunno, but thanks for the insight…i’ll think about it

If you don’t end up winning the lottery (lol), you don’t have to still pay for the higher package, right?

^correct

^^friends that go to USC are no longer friends of mine

also too bad Jrue Holiday stayed in the draft cause then we couldve made more noise

hahaha Moses! S used to have friends at SC but no longer goes there because he and his friends got jumped right outside the campus twice in two years (not by SC students in all fairness) and it was also at night. Any SC friends now come to UCLA! By the way, you can also call the ticket office and order you Bruin Den package directly from them. They ask the same questions, have your credit card ready.
