what do you think based on the link you just posted

Maybe you did not notice my question and the link title - Economics/International Area Studies, but my question is did they discontinue International Development Studies major? Or was Economics/International Area Studies a different major?

Different majors.

If so, then why isn’t it on here?

the link your referring to was from 2010. students could have applied for econ/intl studies for Fall 2010, but it states on the same link you posted that the major has been discontinued since after Fall 2010.

so, technically, are you saying that International Development Studies was not available prior to Fall 2010? If not, then why isn’t it on here?

well technically, i didn’t mention anything about IDS in my prior post…since you asked about economic/intl studies which was sort of confusing. But the International Development Studies program at UCLA was suspended sometime prior to Fall 2010…which is why youre not seeing any statistics for IDS in 2010…no one was able to apply because it was still suspended in 2009. They lifted the suspension and readmission to the major re-opened in Fall 2010.
