UCLA DMA or USC Roski?

Hello!
It is coming down to the wire where we have to decide where we will be attending our last few years of college.
I am coming from a small private school in CA. I got accepted into UCLA’s DMA program. I am currently waiting on USC.
I can’t decide between the two programs/schools. They are so different.
I am interested in pursuing graphic design in the advertising world. I am interested in package design, branding, and website. I also love to mix graphic design with other mediums, such as photo and painting. I eventually want to be a Creative Director at a highly visual company. (freepeople, west elm, volcom, apple)

I really want to get the best out of my design classes, while having opportunities after college.
If anyone is in these programs or has graduated from them- I would love the insight!!

Just a housekeeping item…I presume you are on the Waitlist for USC? If so, then you must accept UCLA offer of admission (SIR) and accept the position on the WL at USC. After 5/1, USC will start taking kids off the WL. And if they call you, then you can choose to switch to USC or to say no to USC and stay with UCLA.

As for the 2 programs, I can’t provide much more info except that Roski always seemed more artsy than DMA has to me. Not sure where I got that impression. Maybe just a feeling. Is the DMA major a BFA?

You should also post your question on the individual college forums. Go to “colleges and universities” and pick southern ca and UCLA and ask your question there

USC doesn’t have a waitlist.
