UCLA DMA Program-- Portfolio Requirements/Tips

Hi there, I want to apply to the UCLA DMA program and I was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding the portfolio requirements. I have a lot of drawings with strong technical and abstract skill and a couple InDesign and Adobe Illustrator pieces, but I feel like the admissions are looking for more computer based graphic design work than drawings and paintings. Does anyone know if this is the case, or does it depend on the individuals work? If you got into the program what was it like in your experience? Also if anyone has their portfolio online I would love to look at it to get a better understanding for what they're looking for. I'd also be more than happy to put my work up if anyone is interested in giving me some feedback. Any information helps!

Thank you!!

a few of my friends from the HS class of 2013 got accepted into the DMA program. if you’d like, i could give you some feedback for your work. DMA is looking for dynamic, interactive media. however, your portfolio should also have a healthy mix of traditional technical work and creative digital pieces. hope this helps!
