<p>Well the above poster are right in that your ACT is really really low for these schools. Your essay seems like its about something truly personal so if you wrote it well it could possibly redeem you, but dont get your hopes up. African American is an advantage, as well as your course-load, out of state is not. Id say reach for UCLA, high reach for Berkeley.</p>
