The person that picked up the phone said that I should have been able to see it already; thus, he was going to email my fin aid counselor… I don’t get why UCLA is so behind. I went through the old threads, I don’t think it was as inconsistent as this year’s. UCSD offered me 7 grand, who knows how much UCLA will give me.

I’m going to call the financial aid office and my counselor again tomorrow to discuss about this. It’s annoying and I feel like I’m being ripped off, although technically it’s not my money.

thanks. im going to give them a call tomorrow or sometime this week.
uci offered me 16,000 in grants and it’s gonna be so hard to turn that down, but UCLA was my first choice!

i’m just worried about how much they’re gonna give me, i’ve read that some people received barely anything grants from UCLA.

I just got off the phone with my fin aid counselor, he said the mysterious ten grand came from this IRS paper that I did not include… I don’t get how I failed to mention about another 30 grand aside from my parents gross income, but whatever. It looks like I’ll be getting nothing from UCLA.

Well, first of all, I’m commuting to UCLA. I don’t have a car but I will be carpooling with a friend of mine that is also commuting. They’re being huge buttholes They don’t want to give us a parking permit and they still haven’t given us our official financial aid award. I did get a lot of money off of the ePal but I’m worried that without the Cal Grant, I’m going to need some loans which I never intended to get. I guess all we can do is cross our fingers and wait…
