Freshman admit rate: 21.5%</p>

Transfer admits: ~300
Transfer admit rate: 23.1%</p>
<p>whoa, for some reason, the percentage seems surprisingly higher than I expected. I expected it to be around 15% for freshmen.</p>
<p>The 15% admissions rate would likely belong under the more competitive Engineering majors (CS/CSE/EE/BioE), assuming the rate were buoyed-up to 21.5% by the somewhat less competitive ones (ChemE/MAE/CEE/MSE) when evaluating the SEAS as a whole.</p>
