UCLA Engineering vs Letters and Science

<p>I was thinking about majoring in engineering. I know UC Berkeley's engineering department is very competitive and hard to get into. How is it like at UCLA? Is engineering at UCLA more competitive to get into than the letters and science department? Thanks.</p>
