<p>How does UCLA engineering compare with Berkeley engineering? I'm talking about the undergraduate program if that helps... thanks.</p>

<p>Berkeley is considered one of the top 4 in Engineering, along with MIT, Stanford, and Caltech. UCLA is a top 25 program, so its academic reputation is not as high.</p>

<p>UCLA is very good but not great in Engineering. Cal is one of the top 3 or 4 Engineering schools in the nation. I would say Cal is significantly better than UCLA in Engineering.</p>

<p>I would say that in Biomedical Engineering, UCSD is much better...otherwise, they are pretty much the same.</p>
