It appeared after I sent in my transcript. I thought IGETC was supposed to take care of this.

Oh, me too. I never noticed it till now. Odd. Did they receive your official transcripts already?

it says that for me too. but i recently just submitted my transcript up through fall 09 and it says my transcript hasn’t even been received yet. but im pretty sure i satisfied this requirement in CCC so maybe its just a mistake on ucla’s part.

how long did it take from your cc sending your transcript to UCLA processing it?

It probably just showed up within the past two hours for everybody. It should be settled after they receive everything.

My preliminary transcript has already been processed. Also, I just found this on my Degree Progress Report:

It looks like everything but Quantitative Reasoning is still required.

@girlyshout It took about a week for mine.

yea what is the deal with this “not meeting entry level writing requirement”…slightly nervous…but i’m sure the status will change again in a few days or will be fully resolved at orientation…

It says that for me too, but I have definitely fulfilled it. I will be bringing my transcripts to orientation just in case it doesn’t change.

Crap, it says it for me too…maybe it’s a glitch?

Yeah, I don’t think it’s anything serious, especially if we’re all seeing the message.

Evan, the little statement is in that first box at the top of the page, where your residency/citizenship is determined.

Edit: Oh yes, I see it now. Same as everyone else. shakes fist anyway

Thanks, Ed! (your name is too complicated) ;)

I’m pretty sure none of our transcripts have been reviewed… I have the same message and I heard that your DPR will not be processed until about 1 week before your orientation. I received an email from New Bruins about course prereqs etc.

Here is the message:

Hello Shawna,

We cannot tell you what courses you will get transferred credit for. We will create a Degree Progress Report (DPR) for you once all your official transcripts are received and evaluated. The DPR will be ready about one week prior to your orientation session. The DPR will provide all the details on what credit you received for all your transferrable courses. It will also include a list of all courses you still need to take in order to graduate.

Sincerely,

UCLA Undergraduate Admissions & Relations with Schools

** I wouldn’t worry…

^ Thanks, Shawna!

does this happen to anyone? your fulfillment for Entry Language Writing Requirement is
yet to be determined.
