If you were take an online course through extension, will it be able to count towards credits for graduation? Also, is financial aid available to those who do decide to take extension?

I'm assuming you're in your last quarter with 2 or less courses left and are not in violation of senior residency because otherwise it doesn't make much sense to do this. If you are missing 3 or more courses, you're in violation of senior residency if you take it outside UCLA.

The problem with Extension (if not concurrent enrollment) is that a lot of courses are not transferable for various reasons. And UCLA Extension doesn't count for residency even if it's concurrent enrollment.

Consider taking your last course or two at CSU Open University or UC Extension concurrent enrollment rather than a 100% extension course. UC courses always transfer and CSU courses transfer as long as it's not vocational(drafting) or remedial (trig).
