@8CLAP4SUP I dont see the option to update anything
I’m on spring break rn and I’m in that typpa mood of not doing anything until I know if I have gotten in or rejected. LOLLLL
I just feel like they should at least give us a date.
@CalBear1998 It’s my second day back from spring break and on Sunday night I’m just sitting there staring at my planner for the week and said “I’m not doing ANY of this until I find out about UCLA.” that didn’t last very long lol
real ass b**** give a f*** 'bout admissions,
Big tuition tab, holds 5,6 figures
@holatomm HAHA i feel it
does our gpa at our current schools add on to our gpa at the school we transfer to?
@oneyear It starts fresh if you haven’t gone to a UC before but you still have your cc GPA if you’re looking to go to grad school. I think they usually combine it but it depends on the school.
@cloud7 they also combine your cc gpa and uc gpa together when deciding for honors at graduation.
@surefineitsok nice! Im glad our major isn’t impacted but it’s always good to have the pre-reqs done !
@cloud7 are you sure it starts fresh? I went to an out of state (non UC) and my community college courses that I took in hs were my starting gpa.
i’m freaked out about how calm i am rn tho. Decisions be legit days away. THIS IS ACTUALLY PRETTY WILD
Im trying to mask my excitement for admissions with the excitement for new GoT episodes. Not really sure yet if its working.
I have a question and I’m hoping someone can please help me! I’m currently a freshman at cc and I applied for ucla’s world arts and cultures program since they accept sophomore transfers. does anyone know if the admit rate for sophomore transfers for this program is significantly lower?.. in other words am I at a disadvantage since I’m not a junior? also I didn’t get invited to the open house but I’m really hoping that I still have a chance of admission… thank you and any comments/knowledge y’all can contribute about this major/ my chances of getting accepted would be super helpful! good luck everyone
@bearsbearsbearz use this link, you can change the campus from drop-down menu and look for average admited GPA for your major
https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major
@bearsbearsbearz How many units do you have?
@AeroDE cool! thank you sm
@CalBear1998 That’s because you already got your UCI decision! Some of us out here haven’t got a single decision! I applied to UCSD/UCI/UCLA/UCB. I’m literally wondering if will get into any anymore
I took 12 units last semester and I’m taking 16 now but I have 21 units from ap and another 3 units from a cc class I took while I was still in high school @90smix
@imstressin UCs count your UC GPA (which starts when you attend a UC). I went to an OOS school before cc and then transferred to a UC (it’s a long story, ha) but yes, your UC GPA starts fresh (assuming you haven’t gone to a UC before). That being said, your previous GPA is probably pretty good and you usually combine them for different places depending on what you are planning to do after. @GoodAfternoonSir I haven’t heard of that but I assume it can only help most transfers.
