how is work study at UCLA, is it easy to find jobs on campus ?
@MrAcceptUC2k Lol that’s what most of these 135 pages have been about… It’s likely either tomorrow or next Wednesday, the 24th. I’m betting on next week
@willowstil cool thank you

@Duvergay tft interviewee here!
What’s that?
@gokingsgo1999 Haha thank you! His name is Rodeo, he was the fourth guide dog puppy I raised but he flunked out of guide dogs because he would steal socks and things and hoard them. One time he stole a five pound dumbbell and hid it in his kennel. ? silly boy
AWww
@MrAcceptUC2k it’s the school of theater, film, and television.
Ok
@cloud7 The UC’s calculate your cumulative GPA from all colleges attended, including community college, 4 years, etc, when deciding whether you receive honors at graduation. This can help transfer alot if lets say a transfer student received a 4.0 in community college and received a 3.6 at a UC, I’d assume the overall gpa would be a 3.8 if my math is correct, which is a fantastic gpa to apply for the Ivies.
@cloud7 of course that still doesn’t call for underperforming at the UC’s, as I’ve received news 2 months ago that graduate schools are expected to value the grades you earned within the last 2 years from the place you transferred to more than your community college.
So keep working hard, remember we’ve got it easier than the freshman who had to work extremely extremely hard at a UC for 4 years instead of two. Try to do the very best you can so that if you’d like to aim for grad school, you can confidently say that you’re ready to shoot for the Ivies, as that’s what I’m trying to do personally.
Exactly not everyone understands grad school doesn’t care if you from
UCLA
@bearsbearsbearz Only Merced, Santa Cruz, and Riverside accept sophomore transfers, and only for certain majors.
RODEO STEALING SOCKS
THE GOODEST OF BOYS
I agree about Rodeo!! I’m actually bringing my dog with me to college. I know some ppl think its a bad idea but shes like my kid, and my parents don’t want to raise her! Hopefully ill be able to find a decent apartment allowing pets OR get her approved as an ESA to live in the dorms
Honestly, sometimes I wonder how applicants who are not on CC handle/manage their anxiety about the waiting process for decisions to come out. Are they freaking out without really any outlet or are they just super chill that they dont really care. Lol
They are human beings too not aliens ?
@charlie122 I was thinking about getting my cat registered as an ESA too, but I want to find an apartment and roommate somewhere that will accept her first. Do you know how difficult it is to get a pet registered?
