A lot of ppl I know tagged and are satisfied w/ their tags or were satisfied w/ csu so no one really understood my anxiety and nervousness over UC decisions esp at schools like ucla. They just say things like I’m sure you’ll get in or “stop worrying”… and I’m like ?!
Ok we get it calbear you are worried
Anyone else’s grades for fall get updated on the UC application? I just logged in and they have my grades updated to reflect A+ & A- in my 5 classes for fall 2018. It still shows Spring 2019 as IP, of course, but to see that there was a manual update for fall surprised me. When I put these grades in prior to the January 29th deadline I definitely skipped putting (-) & (+) on the letter grades.
tomorrow by this time we might possibly know if we got in or not
Really hoping to know my decision by tomorrow. The wait has been way too long
decision will not come out tmrw
Do you guys have that little red banner that says the forums will be down tmrw for maintenance? I think we broke the website
lol @gokingsgo1999 yes but its only for 30 minutes
It’s most probable that decisions don’t come out tomorrow. However, I don’t think we should count out Friday the 19th. Most of the dialogue here has been either the 17th or the 24th because they are Wednesdays, but UCLA used to give out admissions on Fridays both in 2015 and 2016 (17th and 22nd).
So maybe they are going back to a Friday release given Berkeley’s aggressive admission date!
alright friends let’s play would you rather to pass the time.
Would you rather go to UCLA for 5k/year or UCSB for free?
Any dates would be better than the 24th ?
@onebear UCLA
@Makemeabear THATS WHAT I SAID TOO!! But regardless, I hope it’s this week versus next week ?
Guys decisions won’t be coming out tomorrow. Whoever is hoping for decisions coming out tomorrow will be disappointed. I personally spoke to the assistant director of admissions of UCLA when she was at my CC today. She said decisions will come out the 24th, NOT tomorrow. This is the assistant director of admissions for UCLA. Not some phony CC counselor.
@onebear 5k, 6k, 10k I’ll choose UCLA. Just as long as it’s not over $12,500/year.
@RoastedHamm Out of curiosity, do you know why she was there today?
Bruh we get it. You think it’s the 24th. And honestly, it most likely is. But it’s also nice to be hopeful for sooner so stop killing the vibe. Everyone’s well aware there’s a better chance of the decisions coming out next week but some of us would like to also entertain the idea that it could be this week.
@oneyear UCLA no matter what
@oneyear Tough choice. I’m probably the only one but I think I’d choose UCSB. What about you?
@sarcappuccino You basically need a letter from you professional therapist/psychologist/doctor. There’s a lot of online options where you practically BUY the letter. However I’d rather just go into a therapist; if I’m going to pay anyway, it may as well be the most sure-fire way possible. I don’t think its something where you’ll need to revisit the therapist several times, get a diagnosis, etc etc. I’m pretty sure one visit just to prove your pet provides some sort of comfort is enough.
