Iunno… I’m kinda diggin this conspiracy theory
I just wanna know that I got in so I can finally relax and focus on the courses I’m taking
conspiracy theory: it’s taking a while because … we’re all accepted. literally all of us. we deserve it. they love us. the bees are safe. the birds are singing. it’s too good to be true, oh, but it is.
@gappy123 I don’t mean to be nsfw but I love you
@HarleyTheQuinn the courses you listed (100a and 100b) are upper division courses which community colleges don’t offer. Any course labeled 100-199 is considered an upper division course, so they won’t expect you to have completed those. Not sure about the other lower division courses. From what I understand though, UCLA doesn’t typically accept people from their alt major unless you’re in their TAP program.
Not to add fuel to the conspiracy fire (sorry Ohm), but the scholarship app opens on the 22nd…

Good luck all. 2015 admit checking in here and wishing all of you the best. No matter where you end up you’ll do great things.
@gappy123 I’m glad you decided to join the chat. You’re so wholesome!
This stress is really getting to me lol I was daydreaming that I called UCLA and sang don’t go breakin my heart
@luckie1367. No worries. You changed the subject. Always appreciated. ?
Is the portal down for you guys? It’s fine for me. I’ve seen “Application Received” for the 826th time so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@stressexpress @gokingsgo1999 <33333 :’) luv u all
@Chx001 Your achy breaky heart?
@NervyBoi Yeah, hopefully my heart will go on
portals down for me…
Not sure if I should post this here or start a new thread but Does anyone know how taking CC classes while attending UCLA works? For example, if I had to take Calculus 1 as a prereq for my major, could I take it at a community college WHILE attending UCLA? If I do get accepted, I’m thinking about taking Calc 1 at Coastline Community College which offers it online. This would save me a good amount of time rather than taking at UCLA and it would be cheaper. How does the credit transfer work if I already have the max number of units allowed for transfer students? Would I just get subject credit? Would it be worth taking it at CC because of the lower cost and the time it would save me? Any answer would be appreciated
nvm it’s back up.
Hi guys, for those who asked, the portal is down for me as well. It’s telling me that my “record is not found” but not to worry because they’re still in the midst of processing applications. Less than an hour ago I got the “application received” page, so ??♀️ I would assume this is because they’re updating the admissions status, but who knows.
For reference, I’m an art major & got recommended for admission by my department. Which I assume means the program wants me, but admissions has to go through my academics & see if I meet their requirements? Idk
Also, has UCLA ever released decisions after Berkeley in the past few years? I’m not placing any bets on us getting answers today, but hopefully they follow tradition this year haha. Good luck y’all
@uctransfer947 oh I see. Yeah I was confused because they were listed under the requirements on assist. I am in the TAP program and it had me concerned for a bit
@luckie1367 Hi! Do you know if the application normally opens before or after admissions decisions are released?
Hey kewpie, Im also a transfer for Art and was also recommended for admission. Were you at the Imagine Arts event last weekend? we might have even seen one another? Not to give out details on the internet but I had a bright red backpack…
Anyway, I’m super anxious about the transfer decisions and Im really curious to compare timing on our portals…Mine isn’t down, but it just says application received.
