Don’t know if anyone has already done this but I looked up the past decision dates instead of studying rn lol. I thought I would share
PAST DECISION DATES
2013 = April 26
2014 = April 18
2015 = April 17
2016 = April 22
2017 = April 26
2018 = April 25
I also tried to see if there was a trend of which weekday and the last 2 were releases on a Wednesday and the rest were released on a Friday.

@HeyItsNick maybe that’s a good thing?? Maybe the website is starting to slowly crash ? but if it doesn’t come back up soon maybe email the admissions office and let them know

Okay so I did some light lurking on previous threads to see if the alumni scholarship application has been due before or after the admissions decisions date.
In 2017 admissions decisions were released on April 26th. This comment I found doesn’t directly say when the scholarship app is due but I think it definitely suggests that the deadline had not passed yet. The comment was posted on April 28th.

In 2016 decisions were released on April 22nd. This comment posted on April 26 says that the invites to apply for the application were sent around that day, which is also after the date that admissions decisions were released.

Soooo based on this I think the fact that the alumni scholarship application opens on the 22nd could be a sign that decisions will be released very soon? Idk but I really hope that’s true lol

Also funny story guys, for my original app I accidentally applied for Spanish instead of Sociology which I just think his hilarious for myself because I got a B in Spanish, Only took Spanish 1 and nothing in my essays relates to it all. Luckily I realized it like a month later when I rechecked my app… but geeze oh man if I never noticed I would be doomed.

Hey guys, I just joined the thread last min but have been a long time lurker! I’m getting kind of scared people’s portals are down, but mine is still up saying the same old “happy to receive your app” line. I finished my transfer requirements in a year but didn’t realize I would so soon (poor planning), so I didn’t apply last year for fall 18. The gap made me pretty nervous since I didn’t explain it in my app, and I’m afraid that’ll affect their decision. I’m about a 3.9 psych transfer, not too many ECs except for athletics and tutoring exp years back. What do you guys think? Just a coincidence my portal is still okay? 
Alright, I heard a rumor that you can only be accepted to either UC Berkeley or UCLA, never both. So, since its looking likely that UCLA comes out after Berkeley, if your first choice is UCLA, and you are accepted to Berkeley, should you be sad? Discuss.

Okay so I got the extension that gabby123 talked about. I already got into University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and it popped up with a happy picture when I logged in. It does this by reading the html code. I logged into MyAdmissions for UCI and the same thing popped up. I also tried it for UCSD and got a happy picture. I also tried it with my application for UCI from last year (since I got rejected) to see if maybe the application was just faulty, but it showed me a sad pic! It might still be something faulty with the extension, but that made my heart race. My portal still just says that my application is under review still though. It didn’t do anything when I tried it for UCLA. I dont want to bring anyone’s hopes up as a for sure tell that this works, I’m just reporting what I found.
