wait can someone update me on the onion extension thing i was eating dinner and missed out. where would the onion be?
Ahhh I am kinda doubting the reliability though because I’m out of state and my stats are just adequate so its hard to believe that I got in
I don’t think it’s legit because I got an onion before I even logged in to the portal and got a sad corndog man when I went on the website for an online textbook thing lol

I can confirm it is not accurate. Sagacious got an oninon to UCI, UCSD, and UCB. He is missing a transferrable course, namely, Sophomore english. If you do not complete sophomore english, you are automatically denied from all 3 of these schools. Therefore, we know now the results are not accurate.
Does anyone know what percentage of transfer admits are offered Regents Scholarship? I can’t find anything on the UC site.
@TheMaSharng I was accepted to both last year. I think it’s the students who are just accepted to one who keep spreading that rumor.

@CalBear1 That’s not true. I checked the past threads on UCSD and UCI. They both accepted people without all prereqs done in the past. Please don’t generalize missing prereqs will automatically disqualify you. In most cases, it will. Also, I do not study at a CC (I am from Pepperdine) so that’s another different story.
I’ve heard and checked (but couldn’t remember which page and which thread) that there were people who got into UCSD missing Calculus 2.
I still have the chance for UCSD and UCI if not UCLA/UCB (It’s generous for people missing prereqs).
I can assure you that you do not have the complete all the prereqs to be admitted (although completing all of them will be way better).
@biscuit4reggie At UCLA? Very, very few. They give out 100/year and that includes freshmen.
I am pretty sure all UC’s require Freshman and Sophomore English for admittance purposes. Moreover, you definitely would not get into Haas as a transfer without sophomore english, yet you got the onion guy when you logged on the berkeley portal. Therefore, we know the extension is not accurate.

@CalBear56 Wait, I didn’t get the onion for UCB. Nothing pops up. I was running UCSD, and I clicked UCB right after (before logging in) so I thought that’s for UCB.
Anyways, we will soon find out if UCSD and UCI accept me. Again, there are people who got into UCI and UCSD without all prereqs done, so please don’t generalize. Schools like UCLA and UCB are way stricter so yes I am most likely to get rejected.

hey @gappy123 one more thing, thanks for reminding me that rats are great pets. I used to have two in elementary school and now I kinda want one again when I transfer. I was banking on a cat but recently found out I’m allergic.
