@willowstil, @aerode @cloud7 there is no GPA boost with TAP, just priority consideration.
@ecksdee the portal is still up and they haven’t posted anything on social media anywhere yet as they have in previous years so I’m starting to lose hope

@Chx001 yeah that’s definitely a possibility but I think that it’s probably unlikely
Okay guys so I decided to come to UCLA and ask, the girl working said “Next week Wednesday, were aiming for Wednesday but we dont know for sure yet” I asked if we would know the date before hand she said “No, if we see that you havnt opened the portal then we will email you notifying that you should check the portal”. So yeah the 24th looks like the most accurate date.

Considering that five or six UCLA reps that we know of have said the 24th, I’m not sure why the speculation continues. (Any past traditions are irrelevant since Berkeley altered the playing field.) It’s better for your health to earmark the 24th.? If by some rare chance it comes out earlier it will just be a pleasant surprise.
Let’s just be patient. We have been waiting for 5 months ever since we sent our applications, and only a few days are left until the end of April, which all UCs promised to release their admissions by. At least UC Berkeley is going to announce their decision this Friday. Don’t get stressed out and do not trust thoughtless rumors out there… just a few more days…

@AeroDE So I got good news and bad news, bad news is that UCLA notified me that the college alone has the power to get me TAP certified.
The good news is that UCLA has verified that decisions will be available on and only on the 24th of April during the evening (5pm or later)
Here’s what they said to me:
"Thank you for your email.
While we understand your frustration regarding your Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) status, certification for TAP can only be done by the California Community College it is being offered at. Therefore, if you completed everything on time for TAP, then the college is responsible for certifying you.
If your college does not certify you for TAP when you reported on the application that you will be TAP certified, then we will need to be notified of this change. Since we are finalizing our reviews, we are no longer accepting updates at this time. Those students who receive an admission offer to UCLA will be able to officially report changes through the decision site. Transfer admission decisions will be available next week Wednesday, April 24th, evening through the following site: https://www.admission.ucla.edu/myApplication."
So now we can rest easy and let go of all theories and suspicions that UCLA will release decisions today or any other day. It is confirmed that decisions will be released on the 24th of April, NOT A DAY SOONER OR LATER.
