@nanavn hey thanks for the positivity. I’m browsing the UCI website trying to be happier with what I have been offered. I really was happy when I got into UCI so I should stay positive and hope for the best from UCLA.

@StudentAgain Whatever is meant to happen will happen. TBH I’m honored about UCB, but I’m also confused because it’s always been a dream but I really don’t want to move. It’s just like…who the hell turns down UCB for UCI, does that even happen…it’s not like I’m a science major either…UCI was purely proximity based
@StudentAgain Yes! LA is my #1 choice even though I was admitted to UCI with regents and live like 10 minutes away haha
I was rejected from Berkeley today too, but honestly we should not worry because it does not have any correlation with UCLA. Berkeley generally has a lot more pre-reqs for a lot of their majors compared to UCLA. I have all the pre-reqs done for UCLA, but was missing like 4 for Berkeley lol, and so that’s why I didn’t get in even though I had a 4.0. We got this y’all!

@purplewhale2297 Oh nice congrats on that! UCLA is my first choice because I live closer to it. I’m happy with UCI too though because it isn’t that far away. I would most likely have to move though. I hope you get into LA!!
@misseskite because today I got rejected from UCB so my statement may not jave any value. But I honestly turned down UCB for UCI since yesterday when I know UCI accepted me. Just because I care more about the safte and vibe on campus. Although I live in An Jose but I prepared for the whole family to move to Irvine.
@bibiheart Irvine is a beautiful area! I have lived in So Cal for a while now and it is by far the safest out of the UC campuses IMO. Plus it’s literally 20 mins to Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, and Dana Point. Go the other way and you can be in San Diego in an hour and LA in 45 mins. You’ll never be short on things to do.
@Miniman1673 I jave travelled to SoCal for many times during the last 2 years and I know I love Irvine. Thanks a lot for your encouragement to move. I also want to avoid the competition at workforce in Bay Area in the future. Perhaps I am the one who care about the standard of living most as I have a family to enjoy life with.

Hey guys I just wanna say I love all of your guys’ comments. Even though I might get rejected from UCLA, your guys’ positivity has helped me feel much better from all the waiting. I got accepted to UCI though. I’ll probably make the move once UCLA decisions are posted.
