Thank you, i’m hoping for the best good luck to you all!!!
@cdot1009 yeah it seems they interview most candidates. i didn’t receive one, did you?
Did anyone just get another email from regents ?

@jjang25 I did not received one either. I don’t see anybody got an offer without an interview.
Hey guys, I tried using the MY UCLA trick, and it tells me “Our records indicate that you do not have access to use MyUCLA at this time…” should I be worried?? ???
@lostboy18 Don’t worry. That’s completely normal. Look back in the old threads and a lot of people had that message.
@lostboy18 No, mine says the same thing. Its just cause we’re literally nobodies on the portal rn and dont have a ucla id so that message makes sense.
The trick is just plain dumb! Why would anyone try it? Also… it doesn’t work, I tried ??
@HarleyTheQuinn @Princetonian9 okay thank you so much !! That just took a lot of weight of my shoulders :))
I was looking at the website @jjang25 posted and it says the GPA range for UCLA starts at 3.67, do you guys think it would be possible to get in with anything less than that or am I going to get completely rejected? ?
@the444 For what major!
Hey guys, I wish a good luck on your decisions! It’s around the midterm week and I came across this website since this week really reminds me of the last year. I was one of the people who got so nervous until the very last minute before the admission release last year… but eventually got an admission as one of the highly impacted majors. Have faith yourself and everything will go fine. And come on and have fun (and study really hard…) in UCLA, the #1 public school in the US!! Good luck!
p.s. Definitely apply for the on-campus housing since it guarantees you to get in! It’s basically based on lottery system but freshmen and transfer students are guaranteed for their first academic year. It really gives you a good opportunity to make nice friends and most of all the food from dining halls and cafes are fantastic.
@Princetonian9
Sociology Major
3.4 GPA
IGETC: done
Pre-reqs: completed
I was hoping I might have a chance but after seeing that GPA range I don’t think I do anymore
@the444 NEVERMIND i saw it. No thats just the average. For european studies, which is my major, the gpa was like 3.1 for 2015. Since most majors are higher gpas the average is just up there. I’m shooting for the moon with my 3.37 hahaha.
I don’t think the amount of associates matters if you plan to transfer to a 4 year and getting a bachelors.
@Princetonian9 That gives me a little bit of relief, I didn’t realize it was an average. Anyways hoping for the best ?this wait is killing me
@the444 Your major gpa 25% end is around 3.6 consistently, but 25% of people who get in have less than that so not impossible.
@the444 It’s possible to get in. Not 100% possible but it is. I think the admit GPA range is the average of people who were accepted. The index info reads “The GPA range represents the middle half of admits and enrollees (the 25th to 75th percentile).”
@holatomm Ahaha, that’s why I said it wasn’t too reliable. It’s been an ongoing theory for years now
