@Princetonian9 Oo I see. And yeah I’m wondering why so many of us got waitlisted. It might also be because they look into other factors too? Most students who TAGged got in right away. I feel like UCI is trying to be more competitive like UCLA. Either way, it’s wack
i just got an email to apply to the Alumni Scholarships Program so I’m hoping that’s a good sign

@misseskite me!! Super nervous as my gpa isn’t as high as it should be due to my first semester in college but I’ve gotten a 4.0 every semester since so hopefully they take that into consideration. Also hoping that the 48% acceptance rate helps me out. But honestly could go both ways which is why I’m super nervous. Got waitlisted at cal.

this is pretty much the last decision before i make my decision. it’s either UCLA or UCI in that order. please let it be UCLA, please let it be UCLA, still grateful for UCI but, come on, UCLA!!!
@Princetonian9 I was wondering that too, but I’m guessing UCSB waitlisted me because I got into UCB and they’re probably assuming I’d rather go there.

i just wanted to say thank you guys for being such a good support system. everyone here has been so informative and supportive and kind and im really glad we all went through this together. i felt like i was crazy at times because of how much i was stressing about transfer apps in general but everyone here made me feel like im a part of one big, crazy community. as a first gen transfer student, im thankful i had u guys to kinda help me step by step. regardless of if we end up at ucla, we will all be successful because we have good hearts and we are so smart. GOODLUCK IM SO NERVOUS
@HarleyTheQuinn Idk how UCI choose their applicants this year because they admitted me and I had almost none of the pre-req’s done except IGETC for UCI. I didn’t even tag them.

Been following this thread since the beginning lol…
Just opened my myUCLA account I had from a summer program and it has a “New Students” tab that was not there last night. When I click on the tab it says “You are not authorized to access this page.” However, it gives me an option to click on Honors application and New Student Orientation.
Am I in? Freaking out rn.
@ishitak if you did psych as your major, it has like a 60% + acceptance rate and the requirements are pretty lax
@HarleyTheQuinn I got in with my 3.37 for chemistry which i thought would be too competitive for me
@misseskite That doesnt make sense cause the ucs accept independently of each other, so they dont know the status of your app at other UCs

@asd9876 maybe you are in. i had a myucla account without UID that allowed me to login previously. now it says “Our records indicate that you do not have access to use MyUCLA at this time…” maybe this means i’m out? we’ll find out if this is a tell at 5:00pm today. damnit
