ive only talked in here once but i’ve been following the thread for a while…im a 3rd year cc student, i got denied last year as a bus econ major, i got into some other schools but didnt like them so im reapplying to some. 3.74 gpa, all required and recommended classes done. I doubt i’ll get in but for whatever reason i still have really bad anxiety about it. I got into ucsb and davis and waitlisted at usc (my #1) so if i dont get into ucla i’ll have to decide between sb and davis. im fond of neither so this is basically my last hope. Last year the admission results came in on time
@llaauurenn I don’t think so. Going off of the past three years, Berkeley released at 3 or 3:30, and UCLA has released at 5 or 5:10. Seems likely that they would continue the pattern this year.
@uclaletmeinpls I was and I’m confused by the update email. She said that they now have the essay for the conditional application but my application still looks the same. What does yours look like?

I feel too much hope rising in me and I’m trying to subdue it so I don’t end up disappointed if it’s no. Do I try to manifest an acceptance by thinking positively, or take the more realistic approach that only a reasonably small percentage will be admitted…send help…i might throw up…
hope for the best, but expect the worst. that’s at least how i think and it works for me
@EthanSwrvs Same here as bus econ major. Got rejected by Haas. I doubt that I could get in for UCLA too and if not I might be reapplying for Fall 2020. Not sure if it’s a good idea though.
@Lex7777777 I did the general scholarship app and then there’s a second section on the next page with the Regents specific essay prompt and text field. I emailed the Scholarship Coordinator on Friday because I couldn’t proceed to the next page. After the update email it was fixed for me.

@FunkOff that invitation basically means that you’re in, so congrats!! Unfortunately, I never got one and being oos also decreases my chances so I don’t have any hope, but thanks!
