2 hours feel like forever
If I didn’t get into UCB or UCSB, does it mean my chances of getting into UCLA are shot? I literally haven’t done anything productive for the last couple hours… All I can think about are the decisions. I’m dying. I actually think I might cry for the first time in a year.
does anyone know why the fall 2018 transfer thread is down? i tried clicking on it and it says “thread not found”
im loling bc when i made this account i was so frantic that i couldn’t even correctly spell transfer in my username… accurately depicts my state of mind and well being throughout this whole process

I’m starting to think it was a bad decision to write about how my decisions back in high school affected me. Back when I was writing my essays, I thought it would be admired by the admission officers if I was honest about how I felt about not getting the acceptances I worked my butt off for and that I didn’t give up on myself. I worked hard to get all A’s in my first year in college… Then came sophomore fall semester where I got two B’s in my science classes lol @sophslump. But the point is I kept up with my studies with the hopes of transferring. Now I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t a good idea to write an essay admitting that I didn’t get back favorable decisions in my senior year… Maybe it was too negative of a topic.
i tried to take a nap but that didn’t work so I guess i’m in it for the long haul (2 hour wait lol)

are college extracurriculars really that important? aside from research in the lab and volunteering in the hospital, i didn’t really do anything else (i.e. pursue leadership positions in clubs) @funkoff
