I am a community college professor and the parent of a transfer student who is applying to UCLA. I just want you to know that all that you have done to get to this point is a huge, massive, amazing accomplishment. While your parents might be sad, please know that you have achieved great things already. No matter what happens with UCLA, you will go on to succeed in ways that you can hardly imagine. I promise.
