I applied for Anthro at UCLA, but Psych everywhere else.
@illuscrate probably better odds at UCLA with anthro over psych because of how competitive psych can be!

@imstressin I am also an anthro major! A little bit of a long shot since my gpa is a 3.53 but we will see!!

@bridebites thats not too much of a long shot, last year they accepted anthros with 3.6-3.9GPA range, there is definitely hope!!

There’s a lot more Anthro majors here than I thought lol.
I agree but I still have good hopes for getting in. I’ve also totally mentally prepared myself to be rejected just to be realistic but anthropology isn’t a super popular major. Also with the admissions scandals coming to light this year who knows what will happen!
That’s what I was thinking ! Maybe they’ll be slightly more lenient this time around since they just got hit with the college scandal and they might want to take in more kids to help put out that fire.

@lilii99 I have a 3.7 GPA, although the admit range for last year had 3.7-3.9 GPA. I did tap, maybe it will help as my GPA is in the borderline of the admitted range.
(I had all A’s for my Chem+Organic chem classes) hope they will give a look into that X_x …Still scared whether UCLA would reject or accept me.

@HeyItsNick ahh same here. My obsession has become unhealthy now; I completely messed up my sleep schedule by staying up. But everything in moderation should be okay.
