Nice,
Anyways, good night yall!!!
@offwhiteazy I’m trynna rush if I got to ucla cause I live like 8 hrs away and I’m gonna need me some sisters and bffs lmao
people who go into chem as a major scare me. I feel like chem is one of the hardest majors and I cant believe people voluntarily sign up for it
I definitely think it is dependent on your experiences and who you’ve met, but I’d say it’s more challenging to achieve your social goals at UCSD
@CalBear1998 we doin rush week togethhaaaa
UCI is not very friendly imo. None of the graduates I asked liked UCI. Also, iirc, UCLA’s average GPA is slightly lower than Berkeley
I want to find my peoples, my squad, life long friendships. I feel like while I have met very awesome people at cc who are my friends, I haven’t found my peeps yet. I have bffs but they go to college so far from me and I just want an awesome group of friends in the now. Everyone else seems to be living in their now that I’m not a part of because of distance. They’ve formed their own friend groups at their school and now that I’m transferring I’m excited to find mine wherever I end up
Do y’all have some seemingly small/insignificant factors that would affect your decision? For instance, the food quality. Or for me, I would choose UCLA over Berkeley, but I desperately want to learn to play the carillon, and Cal is one of the only places I could do that. Seems like a small thing but I definitely think about it haha

@willowstil DEFINITELY. I’m trying to gain weight so UCLA food matches my goals. I was looking up their dining halls on Yelp one night and got hungry…
My bf is a first-year at UCLA so i go up there to visit him every other week. i can confirm that the social life is lit and the food is heavenly up there
@willowstil I definitely do! and I think we should def be picky about factors especially if were going to pay lots of money for it lol but for me personally, some of my make or breaks def include social life on campus and around campus (again, im really looking for friends and that college experience), dorms are a pretty big factor for me too, and also class room sizes strange enough, I love having relationships with my professors and expanding my network and I feel like its such a hard thing to do at UCLA bc its so big which is a main reason Im leaning towards another school thats private
I like the idea of a frat/sorority for the camaraderie aspect, but ya boi is clean and sober so I don’t think I’d quite fit in with the culture. There’s so many student orgs to chose from though, it’s exciting
Won’t lie, I lowkey like the party scene and the crazy frat/sorority stuff just bc SJSU is so boring and lifeless, I want to experience new things! The fun lifestyles my friends have at USF makes me really want to go to UCLA for their fun lifestyle too!
@jedenic DUDE yes I’m tryna bulk. All you can eat delicious food, sign me the f up. Also UCLA’s gym is clutch I’ve heard. Another one of my factors is that UCLA has a rock wall!
@CalBear1998 I attended 4 CCCs, imagine how many classes I’ve taken and I only got to hang out with 2 outside school. They’re one of my closest friends now. How I am hoping I could make those kind of friends at a 4-year uni especially if that means I’m moving farther (distanc-wise) from both of them.
@willowstil honestly, I want to get into UCLA badly because my favorite basketball player went to UCLA, attend football and basketball games and I want to wear a UCLA hoodie. That’s it.
@willowstil HELL YAH. One of the really superficial things I’m getting excited for is going to the gym first thing in the morning and eating 3 meals a day to get them gainz. Yah, I could probably do the same at another college but UCLA is ranked #1 in food.
@offwhiteazy I think the classroom sizes thing is a super valid factor. That’s a huge perk of a smaller school. I’ve heard countless times that unless you deliberately reach out and make yourself known at a UC, no professor will know your name. So good on you for knowing what you want out of your experience!
i leave for just a few hours to clean and do some studying and log in to see like 300 new posts. y’all wildin lmaooo
@offwhiteazy I feel you sisss. Wow! BFFS and SISTAS. But yeah I’m looking for ranks in schools and the prestige because after busting my  off in community college, I’m not trying to settle for less. I’ll take the best offer I get but I also wanna experience the social aspect of college which includes partying ;D
