I, too have questions but I feel like it’s too early to bug the admissions office. You don’t want them to get annoyed since they are likely already receiving a bunch of emails or calls. I would wait until next week
Is it too late to apply for the prospective undergraduate scholarships? I have already SIRd but on the scholarship portal says “Admitted students receiving scholarships will be notified prior to the National College Decision Day (May 1st for Freshmen; June 1st for Advanced Standing Transfers).” Please let me know if anyone has details on this thank you!
Hi @anonymousss2020
Did you try the [Prospective Undergraduate Scholarships Portal](https://prospective-ugstudents-ucla.academicworks.com/)? Also don’t forget to check out [UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarships Undergraduate Scholarships Application](https://ucla.academicworks.com/) website.
There is a page of scholarships with deadlines coming up in May/June. There is also a list of scholarships we are automatically considered for IF we submit a General Application. Sign in with your UCLA account and you can fill it out. The application includes a personal statement ~500 word limit. Deadline looks like 05/15/2020, but I’m not 100% sure.
Does anyone know what they mean, when they said in the contract to maintain my academic GPA for spring 2020? does that mean I can get C’s in my classes too or just A/B’s?
@subwooferlullaby Well US News ranked Berkeley #1 in the nation for English programs… Ahead of Columbia and Stanford!
@2022hopefulbruh Well UCB is #1 in the country for English programs and UCLA is #6, this is according to US News & World Report
Yes, I have come to the conclusion that both UCB and UCLA are relatively similar in terms of prestige with regards to their English programs. I have heard that, being in LA, the UCLA English major sets you up better for film/entertainment related careers whereas the UCB English major is good set up for being a professor. I am more interested in the entertainment side of things so UCLA seems like the better fit for me.

I have a 3.891 currently and 2 low A’s in 2 of classes. Hypothetically, if I get a B in these classes, will my acceptance possibly get rescinded? I’m wondering this so I could perhaps take the pass/no pass option that’s available for one of them. They’re non major prep classes (Spanish & Geography).

I think you’re okay. As long as your GPA doesn’t drop dramatically, you should be fine. Someone asked a similar question a few pages back on this thread.
Called admissions today and got answers for questions that people commonly have!
A: Yes they can, as long as you have completed the unit count at the end of Spring as well as the course requirements/major courses.
A: If you fail any courses with an F or D, report it. If you get 2 Cs or more, you report it. If you get a C in a major course you were taking in spring, that must also be reported. However if you get As, Bs, and supposedly just one C for a non-major related course, you’re completely fine.
A: Nope. Strongly suggested to complete it, but if not, you just finish required courses at UCLA.
Hope this helps some people!

You are incredible!
Coming directly from Admissions instead of conjecture. This is going to help so many future applicants.
Excellent Job!
Is there a way to know what gpa you had for UCLA? Like for example, I know my CSU gpa because it told me when I applied on their website but I can’t find it for ucs. Are they exactly the same? Someone told me they differ slightly. I tried using GPA calculator but because I come from two different institutions with quarter and semester systems I can’t seem to get an accurate measure.
