@subwooferlullaby I got accepted into Berkeley but did not get a Regents code email from UCLA. Also 4.0.
Letter grade but given the circumstances P/NP maybe acceptable
I got the regents email too!
@subwooferlullaby i got accepted to berk and also didn’t receive a regents code. 4.0 GPA
I got into Berkeley with 4.0 GPA (applied as a Bio major) but I didn’t receive the UCLA email invitation for Regents ugh
I know its all speculation but do you guys think COVID-19 will affect admissions either negatively or positively? I think they will either accept more than usual or significantly less than usual. I got waitlisted as Berkeley today stressed for UCLA lol. Hoping the TAP pulls me through.
Same here
I also got into Berkeley, did not get a code from any school. However, I am also an out of state Transfer applicant (from Florida). I’ll drop my stats below.
HIGH SCHOOL STATS:
UW GPA: 3.78
W GPA: 4.01
Graduated with Cum Laude
SAT: 1150 (I know, they only thing bad about my high school track are my standardized exams, I retook them countless times, but never got any higher than that).
I could go into the EC’s, but its nothing significant, just 700+ of community service, student body position, Vice President for interact and tennis varsity (and captain for a set while before I dropped tennis due to a broken arm).
COLLEGE STATS:
(transferring as. junior)
Currently at Miami Dade College and in their Honors Program dedicated to have student transfer out.
GPA: 3.96. (have taken 26 courses, so my units are around 72 in total)
major : English and Mass comm/PRJ/marketing (doing pre-law)
EC’s:
- Vice President for an award winning creative arts magazine (Axis)
- PR representative for my Honors College’s mentorship program
- 180+ community service hours registered with my campus
- In Phi Theta Kappa and was the media and design director for them
- Wrote and was published for my College’s award winning news report magazine
- which then led me to get published for a high school text book because of a
political article I wrote a while back
- which then led me to get published for a high school text book because of a
- Financial representative for Phi Beta Lambda (a business society on campus)
- and went to states (virtually) for competitions (waiting for the results)
- member for these other clubs
- hosted a project that focused on reinstalling the importance of humanities
(specifically art and writing) into student at my campus.
Distinctions
- Dean’s list for my entire 2 years of college
- PTK member
- SKD (English honors society)
- Jack Kent Cooke semi-finalist (hoping I get the scholarship this month, I still dont
know when it comes out and im really nervous) - Went to GCA Seminar (Global Citizenship Alliance Seminar) in Salzburg, Austria and
Dachau, Germany. (if youre not familiar, (apparently) it was created by one of Ivys
and is a prestigious seminar that covers globalization, international relations, and
modern politics and communications).
I don’t know if this helps? I don’t mean to brag and apologize if the wording seems formatted in that way. Quite honestly, I don’t think I’m a good candidate for the schools I applied to, so I was shocked to see I got accepted. (I say that because my stats for high school were lackluster and idk how much merit that holds during the application process).
UCs do not even ask for your high school stats (GPA, classes taken, SAT, etc.) on the transfer application. They only care about accomplishments during your first two years (or however long it takes for you to get to 60 semester units) in college.

Wondering my chance to get in UCLA
Is there a withdraw application option in your guys portal ?
I know that, I just didn’t know if someone would ask regardless, so to avoid having to type again I put the info there.
Hi guys. I was rejected from UC Berkeley today and I’ve been worried about UCLA admission now.
I don’t know how to do stats, but is it more likely I’ll get rejected from UCLA with a 3.89 (one B in statistics, aside from that I’ve got all A’s to this day) & multiple ECs? I’m just wondering if the theory that UCLA takes extra consideration into E.C & working in school is more accurate.
Hi guys, not feeling very confident after today.
- got rejected from Berk
- Did not get regent code
Stats: GPA 4.0
major: cog sci
first gen college student
immigrant from eastern euro
ECS:
-assisted in research at cogsci labs at ucsd the past two years.
-coached a high school sports team and club coach
-maintained a restaurant job throughout
-honors program with 7 honors credits, but not TAP
Feeling extremely anxious about next week
Is there a withdraw application option in your guys portal ?
There isn’t on mine but I also don’t remember there ever being one
Does anyone know what the guidelines are for the Regents invitation? I didn’t get one but I have a 4.0…

i’m hella nervous y’all
A little disappointed I didn’t get the regents code, but I just got accepted to Berkeley and I have TAP for UCLA so I hope that bodes well for my acceptance.
Hey all, got accepted to UC Berkeley yesterday but didn’t receive regents code… what does regents code have to do with getting accepted to UCLA and how is it significant?
Does anyone know how significant TAP is for UCLA? I did TAP for ucla but got waitlisted at Berkeley yesterday and am feeling antsy as UCLA is my dream. (I did apply Political Science at Berkeley which was super impacted so might make a difference- unsure)
STATS:
-GPA: 3.78
-Major: History
-EC"s: Clubs, student gov, undergraduate research
-TAP + honors program
did not receive regents code
Hey man, I’m in almost the exact same situation, but my major is math and my GPA is 3.80. I think Regents for UCLA only went out to those with 4.0s, and even then not every 4.0 student got one. I’m quite antsy as well, but I believe we have a good shot at getting off the berkeley waitlist due to Covid-19 stuff. Good luck!
