Yup. Still just the two of us lol.
Hoping that them expanding the program this year will bode well for me. How are you holding up?

Hi! I’m posting for the first time! Anyone who is a biology major??
This is my standing!
*Overall is GPA 3.74
*Completed IGETC
*Haven’t finished taking physics series and one semester of organic chemistry
*Extracurricular activities (a student-athlete, volunteers)
I am so scared to think about what if I got rejected I left my country, came all the way to here, and spend 2 years to get into UCLA, so I need to get in…
@corsair341 starting to get anxious lol. Wish us the best of the luck. It will be interesting to see how many applied and admitted since it was such a small amount for both in fall 2019.
@corsair341 I applied to UC Davis and UCB as political science major. Accepted to davis, wait listed for berkeley so I am eager to see what happens for ucla since I didnt apply as poli sci. You hear back from any other schools?
I did. Tagged and admitted to UCI for PolSci, and was admitted to Berkeley for Rhetoric.
Decided to stay in SoCal so really hoping that UCLA or USC (Public Policy major) admit me.
If not, I’ll be commuting to Irvine from LA for the next two years. I guess we’ll find out soon enough!
Davis is a great pick for polsci being so close to the capital. Is UCLA your top choice?
Someone asked the ucla transfers IG page when decisions will be coming out and they replied with “let’s just say the date is closer than you think ?” so I’m still hopeful for Wednesday!!!
@uclahistory2020 I just saw that IG story! I agree that Wednesday might still be it!
I am from OC. Irvine is such a great area! I think UCLA is my first choice but I am very happy to be going to Davis if I don’t get in. I loved their campus and the vibes of the school.
Anybody else just want to get in so they can dance to UCLA by RL Grime in their room while screaming the lyrics? No? Just me, okay.
does anyone know if TAP is a deal breaker ? I’m a psychology major with a 3.84 so I’m like right in the middle. I completed all pre req courses but am stressing about TAP. Anything yall know helps:)

aw that’s lit, glad for u
I’m not sure what you mean by “is tap a deal-breaker?” Do you need it for admittance? No. I go to a cc that doesn’t offer tap, and I had friends last year who were accepted to UCLA without it. It seems like its basically a watered-down version of tag, in the sense that it isn’t necessarily a guarantee, but it adds strength to your application. hope that helps_ GL! 3.84 is a nice GPA so I’m sure you’ll do good.
@cccstudent32 i heard so many great things about the student life at davis! a friend (of a friend) goes there and has been having such a great time
@spanlang Im a Spanish major too! Accepted: CSULB, UCI, UCB, and now waiting on LA !
Rejected from CS at UCI w/ a 4.0 GPA but I didn’t finish the prereqs so I expected as much. UCLA is all I care about now…
@fitcoderdude how many did u not complete? I got denied with a 3.94 but I didn’t complete one course in circuit analysis
Thread for Psych majors applying to any UCs
@zekogmo Just one, but there are only five requirements for CS so that’s 20% right there. I have 100% of my prereqs in progress or completed for UCLA and UCSD, though, so I should have better odds there.
@jessicacedillo ahh hi!! I was just wondering if you took one year or two years of Spanish? I was only able to take one year since my CC only has up to Intermediate Spanish II/Spanish 4, which is already below my level because I took 4 years in high school and got a 5 on the AP Exam. I applied under Spanish & Linguistics, so at least one year is required but 2 is strongly preferred. I’m a bit worried but I think they’ll understand that I couldn’t take 2 years. I also got into Berkeley and UCI UCLA is my dream school
