some people have claimed their sister/cousin/friend/whatever works for the school and said tomorrow, but who really knows. I hope it is though, I’m going nuts with anticipation!!
@Cole440 oh, believe me, I get it lmao that’s why I’m on constantly on here
Going to be really surprised if it doesn’t come out tmmrw purely based off previous dates. Seems to fall on this week of April.
Nah, I don’t think your number of years is a factor in this. I think it could just be the bad luck of having that particular counselor or whoever answered your message. It’s unfortunate that they closed the lines down though, albeit understandable.
I getcha! Having answers soothes the mind, but keep in mind that this doesn’t define who you are. Regardless of perfect/lowered stats or missing pre-reqs, getting into any UC or any accredited 4-year university is a huge accomplishment. It’s you who makes up your experience at your future school so make the best of it good luck

Me too, although if they like Wednesdays they could wait until next Wednesday…
a counselor told me yesterday that it’s coming out Friday, fingers crossed.

If both UCSD and UCLA end up releasing tomorrow, can you imagine the chaos of them releasing simultaneously at 5 PM? I would imagine SD would probably come a couple hours earlier, but who knows.
Did anyone else get emails 2-3 months ago for booking UCLA campus tours/ online tours or any marketing emails like “Achieve academic excellence…”
I also received the alumni scholarship invitation.
@munchenca Yes!! I got all those too!
if it doesn’t come out tomorrow i’ll be biting legs
I neeeeeeeeeeeed to know
I’m sorry to hear that. But I’m sure next year will be better.
Idk how true this is, so take it with a grain of salt, but I read on one article that colleges keep tabs on all your interactions with them, so if you’re rude to an admissions officer, it could have a negative impact on your application. Either way, Admissions officers are probably going nuts right now dealing with applicants, who are having problems with application submitting materials or whatever due to the virus; they don’t need us hounding them for a date. It won’t help them or you if you piss them off. And, knowing when it’s going to come out won’t make it come sooner.

I got these emails as well!!
@omgwig I am not sure if it is the case for all campuses but I believe location is a consideration factor. I live near UCSB and for both my time in high school and CC their admissions officers did say we have a higher percentage of admittance just by being local. However, it is not a guarantee, I know many locals that got rejected from UCSB both in high school and CC.
I think it just happens that the closest UC to their CCC is popular at the CCC
sigh im so stressed over this just reject me already
Quick question : my daughter had entered her Fall grades and then again after taking one Winter course , but the Winter course is still showing IP. Would this impact her admission at all ?
