My son was accepted to UCB (Public Health) last week, and UCLA (Pre-Human Biology & Society) today! He is over the moon!
UC–>UC transfer / 3.96 GPA / solid Extra-curricular but nothing earth shattering / STRONG ESSAYS ! +++

it wouldn’t really hurt so much to try to appeal right? i’m losing so much hope i can’t
i’d say go for it since the worst they can say is no… again… last year i appealed because i felt that i was rejected due to class unavailability with covid but that wasn’t compelling enough of a reason

how did you know how many students they’re accepting this year?
You will love it there. Don’t underestimate Riverside. My son never contemplated transferring from UCR. Only when he realized certain classes he’d had his heart set on were no longer offered, did he go for a transfer. Most of his friends are premeds and are staying put at UCR.
