So, since someone already stated that UCLA has sometimes released Regents after admissions decisions, rather than a week before, how likely are they to release decisions on Friday?
I’m wondering the same. I’m super anxious and wanna know when it will come out):
There are a lot of different scenarios regarding when they’re going to release. Either regents email go out anytime between today and Friday which will tell us exactly what day they are going to release next week. Or they just release this Friday and send regents after.
It doesn’t look like next Wednesday is likely going by the fact that Regents haven’t gone out today (at least I think). We might be in for a decision this Friday!
Hey all. What are the typical stats of someone who gets into regents? I am curious to see if I’m even in the ballpark lol
This might be helpful for some of you guys. At the bottom they have the different acceptance rates by school type.
CCC: 27% admit rate

Other: 7% admit rate

hi there! this is really late for an introduction but i’ll go ahead anyway.
stats:
major: history
applicant type: in-state (from CCC)
gpa: 3.74 overall, 4.0 major (or maybe a 3.9ish due to a single B+ i got but i can’t do math so please correct me if i’m wrong)
applied: UCI, UCB, UCLA
honors/rewards: dean’s list 6 consecutive quarters which i didn’t think to add to my application
ECs: a few leadership programs in high school, unfortunately didn’t do much but work while in college (coffee shop for about 6 months, then i worked for the local school district as a substitute teacher in special education which is still my current job)
i’d also like to add that i graduated with high honors and earned my AA-T in history from a ccc back in june 2019. at the time i had been accepted and SIR’d UC Davis but ultimately decided to just not go so this is my second round with UC applications. i’ve been feeling really confident about decisions but looking at some of y’all’s stats… i can’t help but feel really nervous especially with ucla releasing any day now. i was almost an english major so i know my PIQs were pretty strong, a good friend of mine who’s an english major looked over them so i trust her word lol. i really struggled in high school and have always sold myself short, i’m 22 going on 23 and these upcoming decisions are really important to me. good luck to everyone!!!
Good luck! I’m applying again after almost committing last year to SB as a transfer, and I’m art history so in a similar boat! I think you have a good shot.
ahhh! good luck! maybe we’ll see each other on campus one of these days <3
Could you guys please share your thoughts about the decision date?
- This friday 5pm
- Next Wednesday 5pm
- Next Friday 5pm
What do you think it will be?
My money’s on this Friday at 5PM
Yes pleaseeeeee
I would scroll up and read the thread… I think most people agree that the likelihood that it’s next Friday is very low. Cal and La haven’t released on the same day in the past 6 years. It is anyone guesses between the 16th and the 21st. I personally have advocated that I believe it will be the 16th. But, really, no one knows for sure…
Yeah I already scrolled up many times and saw previous years thread many times just like you guys.::
Just wanted to know more what people think about at this point
yeah, I’d say this Friday too
– Three people think this friday so far
I didn’t mean that in a rude way. My bad.
Nope nope
I didn’t take it as rude either. I just explained that
I can’t even afford to think something is rude at this point and of course, you were not rude at all.
I was just desperate to wait for decision and wanted to tell you I wanna know the people’s latest thinking about the date
