<p>So i kind of already planned out what classes I wanted to take and had some backups. I went to check schedules out again just now, and the poli sci classes I wanted to take were getting filled up pretty fast, even the discussion classes! :( ah im so worried i might not get in.... and my orientation is next tuesday, but what if it gets filled up alrdy? even my backup ones were getting filled up too.</p>
<p>Also, I dont understand how there are only 4 discussion classes open with the capacity of 17 each class for 160 students???? Only one class was open for enrollment... wth??? anyone know?</p>

<p>When I found out I got admitted to UCLA, I spent the next few weeks planning out the courses to take starting from my first year at UCLA till my graduation. Spent literally weeks going through the course catalogs and matching up my schedules to make sure I get the most out from the school during the next two or three years of education. If I remember correctly, if my plan went perfectly well as it should’ve, then I should’ve graduated with a degree in Business Economics and double minoring in Statistics and Accounting, I would be staying another year (3rd year) at UCLA to fulfill my major requirements. guess what? After the first quarter, that plan i made became garbage. I ended up only majoring in Economics with no minors, but on the positive side, I was able to graduate in two years. So I guess that’s a trade-off right there. My point is, with classes filling up super fast, classes getting canceled unexpectedly, or simply not being offered, it’s rare that you end up taking all the classes you planned to take.</p>
<p>Don’t worry so much, sign up for other classes, put yourself on the waitlist on the preferred courses, and just hope that students drop out in their first week. If not, then just take other classes and live your life. :)</p>
<p>I’m a polisci major and none of the classes i planned on taking for fall are even close to filling up. Plus it would be impossible for them to fill since most of the discussions are still closed.</p>
