UCLA financial aid questions

Hi,

I've recently been admitted to UCLA for fall 2014 as a transfer applicant. I was selected for income verification a couple days later. Long story short, I sent in the verification form, but forgot to include income verification documents with that form.My fault, I know. Now, I've been trying to send income verification documents to correct this issue, but MyUCLA doesn't show that they've received any of these documents....only the verification form that I sent a while back and FAFSA. I'm thinking of going to the UCLA financial aid office to submit these documents in person.

Will the financial aid office accept documents in person? Also, I've heard that the later you turn in financial aid documents, the less financial aid you'll receive from UCLA. Is that true? Am I screwed? :( I'd really like to be able to afford this school and I doubt I can with less financial aid.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried calling the financial aid office? Perhaps that approach is more convenient for you?

lol, the financial aid office is always busy. I tried calling them today and they were busy the whole time.

It won’t be inconvenient for me to go to the school myself, so I don’t have to worry about transportation or anything like that. I feel I need to talk to someone in person…it’s probably the best way to deal with bureaucracies.
