UCLA Financial Aid Status

So I checked myucla and ursa and both say I got accepted. However when I check my FinAid Status it says they haven't received my FAFSA. Then I called the FinAid Office and there I was told that they actually received it. But the man on the phone didn't know why they didn't update my file and tried to transfer me to the FinAid Counselor, but I keep getting his voicemail.
Now I really don't know what to do. If I just wait they'll never update my file. ANd I know that I have to file the verification sheet cause UCD and UCSD wanted me to do the same. Should I just wait till Monday and try calling in again in hopes of getting someone on the line who's more knowlegedable?

I am in the same boat as you.

Seeing as how the official acceptance letters aren't even out, I would just wait.

I plan on giving a call to UCLA first thing Monday. It may take a few more days for FA to update.

I'm in the same canoe as you.

Just remember, school like Irvine took over 3 weeks to send out the financial aid awards after they admitted people.

Ok, makes me feel better that I'm not the only one with this problem. It took Irvine 3 weeks? Man, that's a long time.

I'm starting to think UCI lags in general.

I haven't even gotten a letter yet. In at UCSD (and UCLA accoriding to SIR?)

but UCI can't even shoot me an email letting me know theyre alive?

yeah...im probably bitter.

SD has not even updated on the finaicial aid.. it's been 1month and half and SB updated within 2weeks

I had the same problem and I called and the lady on the phone said I had to go to the financial aid website and fill out something called a “verification form” basically it asks you for a copy of your completed tax information, and then it asks for a breakdown of where your money is spent. it doesnt take too long to complete but you need all the information for it to send it in. you can go to [UCLA Financial Aid Office - Forms | Petitions | Verification Forms](http://www.fao.ucla.edu/forms.html) and find it there.

…you do realize you answered a 3 year old question…?

^

With that being the case, I hope that wu_chun24, Multipliedbyten, kidRobot, and Torrancecali have all graduated and are continuing their lives in either their respective fields or graduate school.
