UCLA Financial Aid Summary..anyone from previous yrs not have stuff up, but got in

Heyy everyone..My sister iis freaking out because here financial aid summary isn't up.

Is there anyone from previous years where there financial aid summary wasn't up but they got into UCLA?

THanksss

The same question I want to ask because I am freaking out too!!!!!

Many people.
Not seeing a financial aid summary does not automatically equal rejection. Tell her to keep her hopes up! (UCLAri commented on this on last year's thread, I think) I know I am. :) Best of luck!

I tried to read the thread from last year. There were quite a few people in that situation, weren't there?

True.

10 char

I am not looking up my financial aid summery just in case it is not up so I don't start freakin out.

very smart move....

thedude44 I congratulate you on your superhuman self control!

Hahaha thank you. I teased myself a couple of times by starting the process of creating a UCLA ID but then I said I am not going to do it.

maybe you'll be laughing when the ones who saw the summary don't get in!

Eh, probably not a good week for me to be joking about this?

Hahah probably not.

I think you should just tell your sister to wait it out. I can't see my financial aid info, but I was asked to compete for the Regents Scholarship which is an indication I've been admitted. Of course, I could be one of the unlucky that are invited and then rejected... :-( So who knows?!

I think our only hope is that maybe they haven't updated everyone yet which is why they havent released decisions....

Other than that, if I was a betting man I would say if you can't see ur info its time to start writing that appeal letter or looking at other schools

you know, with all of these theories that seem to go on, I really don't think if you can't see a housing application, financial aid summary, calrentals app (etc etc), it doesn't mean at all that you haven't gotten in. There was a substantial amount of applicants from last year who couldn't see their housing application on the berkeley website or, as Woman.of.Troy mentioned, see their financial aid summaries for UCLA, yet still got in. I think if you can see a summary or housing app, it's definitely a plus - but if you can't, don't worry about it. As we have seen from last year, it doesn't indicate at all that you haven't been accepted.

joehanus ftw

*jump on it, joehanus, joehanus, joehanus

let's hope......
