Access URSA from Sunday 6 p.m. through Tuesday 1 a.m., and from Tuesday to Saturday 6 a.m.–1 a.m. Pacific Time.

Maybe they will be doing updates between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

if someone has a high EFC does this mean they will not be getting very much financial aid??

Yes.^^^ 1char

OK sorry to beat a dead horse but I think this is the last remaining hole in the FA theory. There may be some confusion on UCLA’s part that when you call and ask about FA and will rejected students see it, they are thinking about the FULL AWARD SHEET that would truly be important to a student. And their answer would of course be: “No only accepted students will recieve that.” So we all get excited when there may be a disconnect…So has somone actually spoken to UCLA FA and described the difference then asked questions? If not then theres still the chance we are getting ahead of ourselves.

Trust me I want to believe…but not if its not true.

is an EFC of 23,000 high?

haha yes 23,000 is high, mine is 29,000 say bye bye to any aid that’s for sure.

They will most likely offer you loans with an EFC of 23,000.

Anyways, now that you guys have been posting 32 pages of utter garbage and nonsensical jargon (i said 32 because out of 33 the one explaining URSA was useful) I just thought I would contribute to this heap of sh1t by posting some nonsense.

agoologobooogooloo agarbagarshagharbangboongdangtalddieesdakiiimieknana

The fin aid summary theory has never failed that’s all there is to know. Let’s remember AWARDS are not given out to anybody until after getting the congratulations. It’s weird but I am sensing that there is more tension between the students who can see their finaid than those who cannot. we will all be fine.

Do you know how many mother*****ing times this has been posted? There is no tension over this, everyone knows that URSA update=acceptance. I’m saying, that besides that fact, you guys are talking about absolutely NOTHING in this thread. This thread is a waste of bandwidth, because most of it is OH MY GOD, DECISIONS TOMORROW!!! RABBIT IN BACKYARD TOLD ME!!!

^^^ thats what the thread talks about … URSA FINANCIAL AID SUMMARY… wat part of it don’t u understand?
i do agree there is tensions amongst us all at the moment…

Mock the rabbit while you can…his wrath reaches all.

dasherwinator… calm down =/ let people stress if they want to, just don’t look up the threads.

dasher has made her or his point! this thread is useless, we should just delete it or get on with something else. I’ll ask you dasher, have you gotten update from ursa the finaid summary?

didn’t apply for FA, doesn’t even apply to me. Just sick of seeing this thread at the top of the page.

i have a question… when you click “View eFAN and Financial Aid Awards on MyFAO”
then “access”, what do you guys see? has this been recently updated or i just didnt see it before?

Hmm… maybe I’m speaking from a minority here, but I applied with a 3.1! (woot woot) annnnnnd I can see my financial aid summary. now that may be an encouragement to some of you; but probably a discouragement to the rest – “ahh! this chick can see the finaid summary and she has such a low gpa!! ahh we’re doomed.” Lol…

anyway, I also got into UCSB and UCSD last week with my dandy little 3.1 (from a CC). So we shall see what is to come… :)

oh, and morethansunshine – when i clicked on “View eFAN…” // “Access” I read:

Document tracking functionality is available only to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA) for the current academic year. We cannot determine your eligibility for financial aid without this information. To complete the FAFSA or check on the status of a submitted application go to: [FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov).

plus a lot more…

what do you see morethansunshine ??? … mine only says no request

amynic what did you apply to ucla as?
