<p>uh they were #3 in education last year, so i dont see how its a big jump. the education department here is really good.</p>

<p>although i would like to say that selectivity doesnt always directly correlate with academic quality of the law school.</p>

<p>hmm, I didn't know that they were that high....</p>

<p>UCLA is generally regarded as a top 15 law school, but i doubt they're actually #9 in the country, if you're referring to cotodecasa's post. the post basically shows selectivity, and UCLA has a high selectivity score because LA is a major market (and probably because its in california, where not only are there more pre-laws, but more pre-laws who can go to a quality law school for in-state tuition). same with berkeley/boalt.</p>
