You will have a decent shot. 50%. GPA is the biggest factor for UCLA.

ahaider:

Assuming you are a California resident, and you get the straight As and 2100 SAT,
UCLA: Slight Reach

UCLA is very difficult to get in as freshman...with 2.4 and 3.4 I don't see a chance...sorry. I have seen people getting screwed with 4.0+ GPA

if UCLA is your dream school I suggest the community college route...very very easier

Yay I think that is kinda a far reach. I know people who had 4.6 and didn't get in

depends which school. my shcool is a reputable public school and everyone 4.2 or more gets in. No questions asked.

not everyone with a 4.2 gets into UCLA. sorry it is really competitive.

you are a funny kid.
Senior class of 2005.
Around 300 applicants from my school
Around 100 acceptees. If you draw a GPA line, everyone above 4.2 got in.
My school does not have many honors or APs, but it is known as a "good" school. Maybe we get some bonus for that or something.

One guy from my school. 3.8 1900 Sat got in. Mediocre ecs.
Well he is an exception, but you get my point.
