jpl isnt residential its a straight up job kind of thing from what i can tell. got my rejection! its okay though.

hello,
sorry for such a late post, but I’m applying this year and wanted to know if I have a chance?
Well I have a 1990 SAT and 202 PSAT, my GPA is 3.9 unweighted, I got an 800 on Math II subject, and a 5 on AP Calc AB. SAT is very low, i know :(

You have a chance.

Would it be worth applying to this program as an out of state resident?

And could you chance me based on this:
SAT: 2140
PSAT: 209
GPA: 3.74 (eek, I come from a difficult school.)

Haven’t taken any AP or SATii’s yet. I will later this year, though.

anyone who applied from past years have any tips on applying? how many OOS students apply/attend?

bump^^^ 10char

Do I have a chance?

Sophomore
PSAT: didn’t take yet
SAT: 2310 (800 Math, 740 CR, 770 Writing)
GPA: 4.0 (UW), 4.67 (W)

Also, do they give preference to current juniors (rising seniors)?

hi guys i was wondering if the past participants can help me out a bit. i got an email a week ago saying i made it through the initial selection and that in a couple of days the professors should email back with an official acceptance but so far I haven’t gotten any emails or packages officially accepting me so i was wondering how the process of being confirmed in worked/how long it took? thanks!!

Hi everybody, I was interested in knowing more about how competitive this program is. I already want to go to it because everybody says it seems like a lot of fun, but I’m not entirely if I could make it in. Could anybody tell me what my chances are?
Sophomore:
GPA: UW 4.0, W 4.5 (This is for sophomore year)
SAT I: 2400
APs: Chinese (5) and I’m going to be taking AP Chem, AP Comp Sci, AP World, AP Environmental Science, and AP Psych. Is it a disadvantage if I currently only have 1 AP under my belt?
SAT IIs: Math II 800, will take Chem soon.
ECs: Co-Founder of school’s first ever STEM club, Science Olympiad captain, Health Occupations Students of America (4th place in biomedical debate at state conference), Speech and Debate club (quite a few awards but not sure if this translates over to the program), JV volleyball, prepping for Siemen’s Competition with professor Fu-Ming Tao.
I’m mainly concerned with teacher recs (I don’t think my teachers like me very much despite academic performance) and the fact that I currently have very few test scores under my belt. Any help?

Thanks!

Hi! I am also applying to HSSRP this year. I’d like to know what I can do to increase my chances. Anything is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Can someone please tell us about this program? Esp. someone who has gone through it before? Thanks.

Anyone who applied this year and got results already?

They start coming out on the 18th. Today is the 17th.

So, today’s the 18th? Does anyone have a response?
