UCLA Honors Program

Is anyone going to UCLA doing the honors program? What do you think about it? Is it worth it? I'm leaning towards not doing it, but maybe I'm missing out on some information, like benefits it has to offer, etc...?

I’m also not doing it, simply because I really don’t think it’s worth all of the time it would take for the extra classes + additional work+ senior thesis. Taken from the website, the benefits are:

What do you have to do to qualify to enter an honors program?

A senior thesis is not required for the College Honors Program. It is required for “departmental honors,” but not for College Honors.

Furthermore, with certain majors + careful planning, doing the honors program may be little work. For example, as a Math/Econ major and with the classes I have taken for my major, I only need to take one Honors Collegium class to meet all the requirements for college honors.

You need to meet the GPA requirement with your transfer GPA, then apply through URSA.
