UCLA Housing Options?

Hi everyone, I have been accepted at UCLA to study Economics and i need some help with choosing a type of on campus Housing.

Ive narrowed it down to the following 3

Residential Plaza
Five-bedroom suite,
one occupant per room with shared bath

Residential Plaza, Private Bath
One room,
two occupants

Residential Suite/Plaza, Shared Bath
Two-bedroom suite,
two occupants per room (Has its own lounge)

They are ordered with the price decreasing. Does anyone have any opinions eg pros cons to these options?

Which would you go for? Any help would greatly appreciated because i have to decide soon!

Thanks

James

It depends on the following things (in my opinion):

1) Is it necessary that you have your own room?
2) How many roommates do you want?
3) How much money do you want to spend, and would you rather save the money and spend it on study abroad, books, car, graduate school, etc.?

Well money isn't a major issue, my parents are paying for the exchange. I just want to get the best university experience i can get but i want some privacy aswell. I've heard that 1 room mate is better than 2. I suppose its not necessary i have my own room - do you think its better to have your own room?

I am an exchange student from new zealand by the way :)

At my university, it is an apartment style setting. I think that is great, because if I want to hang out with my roommates I can. if they want to watch the tv in the living room, and I want to study, I can go into my (private/own) room. If money isn't an issue, I'd go for the five bedroom suite. Mine is a four bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms.... :)
