just checked the application course site, and they say accepted students will be notified STARTING march 31st.

Looks like acceptance letters will start to get sent out starting Apr 8th rather than March 31st.

This is part of the email I received: “Although your 2016 HSSRP admission cannot be guaranteed yet, we are very confident a faculty advisor will select you. We expect faculty advisors in one of your top three engineering departments to reply with your admission within the next month.”
@cherrychuuu Ah gotcha. Haha I applied to the opposite departments - EE, CS, and MechE 
Wow, from the email it sounds like the students in the program work very closely with the faculty. Do you know if there is a possibility of getting a rec letter from your advisor at HSSRP?
