UCLA HSSRP internship

Has anyone else received an update…?

still nothing…

have you guys tried calling him? He’s really nice

Just called Herrera. He told me that he would send me an email within the next half hour, so around…7:30 PM Pacific time? I don’t know if this applies to every single applicant, but let’s hope it does! I want to see who I might be working with!

Just got an email! Man, I was worried sick that I’d be rejected and stuck with nothing to do during the summer… Assigned department is Bioengineering, though it says that the faculty advisor and lab will be assigned on the first day.

Oh, did anyone else get an email?

I got into Aerospace Engineering…but it looks like I might not be able to go. So, a spot’s probably opening up.

I still haven’t gotten any email since the initial wait-list email… how long is this going to take?

if u didn’t get an initial acceptance email, the chances of getting in now are slim. they should be out with final decisions by the end of this week

anybody get into tech camp?
also, how do you think tech camp will stack up against hssrp in terms of prestige?

I just got my acceptance email today but I had to email them before I even got it, and to think, the deadline was this Friday! Don’t lose hope yet, keep trying!

I got my acceptance email on Jun 6th, with department and professor included. I’m assuming the last acceptances will be soon, since we only have a week 'til the start of the program.

I’ll be in Bio too! But I got my professor’s name in my acceptance email, so I’m not sure how that works.

Out of curiosity, was anyone here that was accepted a rising junior?

have you guys gotten anything in the mail yet? I need to know what I need to bring and such

In the mail box or email? Were they going to send us mail via the postal office? o.o If so, I don’t think I would get it on time…
Anyhow, are you staying in the dorms or commuting there? They sent a partial list of what to bring out.

Hey guys. I’m going to HSSRP in bioengineering and I’m booking my flight tickets now. Does anyone know if we should fly in the Sunday before, or on Monday, the day it starts. If so, what time should we fly in Monday?

Has anyone gotten their roommate(s) yet?

They said something about checking in the Sunday before between 3-10 PM on one of the UCLA Housing websites, I’m not too sure what the procedure is - as this will be my first time living in a dorm - but you should probably arrive on Sunday just to be sure. I’d also like to know who my roommates will be, at least I could ask for tips on what to bring (outside of the list they provided).

Wait I’m confused. Are we in Rieber Hall or Saxon Suites?
