Has anyone who was initially selected not get the official acceptance yet?

Has anyone who was initially selected not get a final acceptance yet?

I havent. I believe I applied to Aerospace, Mechanical, and Materials. Which ones did you apply to?

Update: I got my acceptance today, but into Chemical, which I don’t think was one of my top three. Not the best, but I’m still 100% grateful for the opportunity. Did anybody else get into a department that wasn’t their top pick?

I’m super worried. I still haven’t gotten an email, and Herrera isn’t responding to my emails. :(

Just got accepted into Mechanical and Aerospace department. YESSSSSS

@GOSUFrog @myshelljo were you in the initial selection?

ME TOO!!! Can’t wait to meet everyone! :)

just wondering, how many of you initially selected people turned down your spots?

I was.

Does anyone know what Jonathan Castillo’s email is?

Guys that are dorming: are you bringing anything beyond dorm room basics (sheets, towels)? Are we supposed to bring any schooling supplies, computers, the like? I haven’t received much info from Mr Herrera.

I’m bringing my laptop and electronic stuff cuz I’m pretty sure there’s wifi

The only thing I’m set on is bringing my phone. I’m not 100% sure about bringing my laptop or not just yet.

Actually, I’ve just discussed this with someone I know in the program, and he said that he just emailed HSSRP staff and Mr. Castillo said that having a laptop of your own will be “very helpful” (though, for students without laptops, computer labs will be available).
