UCLA ID # for Transfer hopefuls?

I couldn't find the answer to my question by browsing all the threads, so here goes...

Like many of you, I'm anxious. I went on the UCLA website, clicked "admission decisions", then was prompted to enter my application ID #, birthdate, etc.

What appeared was an an explanation that transfer decisions are not completed, and are expected to come in at the end of April. However, I was assigned a UCLA student ID# in the upper right hand corner. Does this mean anything or do all applicants get a student ID # pending acceptance or rejection?

TIA.

everyone has one.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, the number has meaning because it indicates that your applicant has been received. Unfortunately and fortunately, all applicants do receive an id #
